About

XCArena turns IGC tracklogs from paragliding competitions into interactive 3D replays on photorealistic terrain: every pilot of the race on a shared timeline, the task with turnpoint cylinders, start and goal, a live leaderboard and weather. The camera can follow any pilot or chase the race leader automatically, time speeds up to 60×, and links can be shared down to the exact second of the race. Everything runs in the browser — desktop and mobile.

FAQ

What is XCArena?

XCArena is a free web app that turns IGC tracklogs from paragliding competitions into interactive 3D replays: every pilot of the race, the task with turnpoint cylinders and a live leaderboard on photorealistic terrain.

How do I watch a competition replay?

Open any event from the archive and press play. Follow individual pilots or let the camera chase the race leader, speed time up to 60× and scrub to any moment of the flight. It works in the browser on desktop and mobile — nothing to install.

What data does XCArena use?

Standard IGC GPS tracklogs recorded by flight instruments and apps such as XCTrack. The task — route, cylinders, start and goal — is imported from the competition scoring files, and rankings are computed along the timeline.

What is the FTV calculator?

A tool that estimates final competition standings under FTV (Fixed Total Validity) scoring used with GAP: it parses official task results and forecasts how the remaining tasks may change the overall ranking.
